Saratoga Springs City Council Members appointed to positions

The City Council on Tuesday January 12, 2010 appointed several City Council members to new positions.
1- The Lehi Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors position will be filled by Council member Michael McOmber.
2- North Pointe Solid Waste Special Service District Governing Board will be filled by Council Member Jim Miller

$62 Million dollar deal made with CUWD and LDS Church

On 9/18/2009 the City Council of Saratoga Springs made a deal to purchase 10,000 acre feet of water for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) for $62 Million Dollars, from the Central Utah Water District (CUWD). They have then agreed to pay a annual maintenance fee of $3.1 Million Dollars [...]
